Garrett attended Butler University where he received a Bachelors Degree in English Literature with a focus in Creative Writing and a minor in Recording Industry Studies. Garrett earned his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude and served as Managing Editor of the Indiana Journal of Law and Social Equality. While in law school, Garrett also worked as a legal intern at Indiana University Student Legal Services, where he provided free legal assistance to students in a wide variety of matters ranging from landlord tenant disputes to corporate formation issues.
Garrett’s interest in music and cinema led to an interest in working in the entertainment industry from a young age. When he isn’t drafting contracts or researching the intellectual property issues presented by emerging technology, Garrett can be found baking cakes and breads or practicing the piano.
